Products on my July Wishlist

.) Dior Addict Lip Glow  I’ve seen several positive reviews of this product online. The Sephora website describes it as,  “A sheer balm that enhances your natural lip color while moisturizing and protecting the skin.” It reminds me of that mood changing lipstick I had in junior high that always ended up turning my lips the same burgundy color whenever I applied it. Again, we get what we pay for and this high end product supposedly lives up to it’s expectations. I just cannot bring myself to spend $32 on lip loss that I will end up misplacing. Currently I have dozens of lip glosses floating around somewhere out there. I leave them in my old purses when I switch or in my make up drawer and forget about them.

.) Tarte Maracuja C-Brighter™ Eye Treatment As my 32nd birthday approaches, I feel like it is time for me to develop a better under eye routine. Although I’ve always been very careful about that part of my face because of how delicate it is, I am beginning to notice fine lines forming. A few gray hairs are popping up as well, but it isn’t a big deal. We are all going to age and I personally do not feel that cosmetic surgery or injections are necessary. As long as you start taking care of yourself properly, you will age beautifully! Anyway, this Tarte eye cream is something I might purchase to add to my make up routine in the morning under my eyes. Some times my make up settles into the tiny lines under my eyes. It drives me crazy because it makes them look very dry and accentuates them more. The only reason I hesitate again is because of the $38 cost.

.) Dior Vernis Nail Lacquer Is this nail polish really worth $24 a bottle? I’d like to find out! The ratings on are very high for this chip-resistant polish. As I mentioned before,  I have had a really difficult time finding a nail polish that is long lasting. Some reviewers mention that the look of this polish resembles a gel finish. I love gel manicures, but it causes too much damage to my nails.

.) Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer I’ve always wanted to try Bumble & Bumble products because of all of the great reviews I’ve read about them. I do like to splurge on hair care products, especially conditioner. This particular product is a pre-styler that protects hair from heat and UV in addition to conditioning your hair. Currently I use It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin right after I get out of the shower before I comb my hair and begin drying it. I think I’ll be purchasing this product soon to test it out.
